New Sigma Art lenses announced

Sigma Corporation has announced three new Art lenses: 14mm F1.8, 24-70mm F2.8 and 135mm F1.8.The 14mm F1.8 DG HSM Art has 16 elements from which 4 SLD (super low dispersion), 3 FLD (low dispersion) and 80mm aspherical front element. The motor is HSM (ultrasonic ring type). Minimal focusing distance is 27cm. Sigma claims this lens to be the world’s first F1.8 ultrawide angle lens.

The 24-70mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Art has 3 SLD and 4 apsherical elements, aperture with 9 rounded blades and optical image stabilizer. Front element is a size of 82mm and minimal focusing distance is 37cm. This lens is claimed to be water-sealed.

And finally the 135mm F1.8 DG HSM Art telephoto prime. It packs a ring-type ultrasonic focus motor, 13 elements and 9 rounded aperture blades. Filter size is 82mm.
